Bible+ is an app by Olive Tree and offers a clear layout with a comprehensive set of features and resources. Little touches like having verse numbers in blue and Christ's words in red add to the readability, whilst the split screen option allows you to easily compare passages. Size 73Mb
Their strapline is "Get the worlds most advanced study bible for free"
With over one million 5 star reviews you know that a lot of people find this app very useful. Maybe its their study plans or the ability to listen to passages, but what attracted me was the hundreds of different bible versions that are available. Their website, www.bible.com confusingly refers to the app as YouVersion
Bible Gateway is from the same app developer as Bible+ and is distributed by HarperCollins Christian Publishing.
